Solo Opens New Store
Solo is pleased to officially announce the opening of its new store with an invitation only preview of Solo's Cinere and Dacha collections designed by the Indonesian based, internationally acclaimed interior designer, Jaya Ibrahim.
Solo is the brain child of Yusti Suhendy and Agung Rahardja who are passionate furniture developers.
Yusti and Agung, along with Jaya have produced contemporary designed furniture using the skills and sensibilities of centuries-old Javanese craftsmanship, combined with modern technology. It is their collective belief to produce furniture specifically suited to the more contemporary life-style of modern customers.
The
new Solo Store is a two-storey building, stylistically designed as a reinterpretation
of a typical Kebayoran (South Jakarta) family house infused with contemporary
elements, and therefore allows the furniture collection to be seen in
its entirety in a home like environment.
Recently, Solo previewed the Cinere and Dacha collections in Dublin, Ireland.
Jaya will unfortunately not be present at the opening due to prior commitments with his latest hotel project, The Setai in Miami, Florida. Jaya, in collaboration with Denniston International, has been appointed as the interior designer of The Setai, Miami.
The new store is located at Jl. Gunawarman No. 55, Kebayoran Baru.
